In honour of Mother's Day I picked up this lovely gift set from Lush to give to my mother. I usually don't like rose scents, but this is the most delicious smelling package ever. It's floral with this sugary scent and if I could sweat this smell, all my dreams would come true.
Inside, it comes with a shower gel, 2 bubble bars, a body conditioner and a multi purpose balm. The 2 bubble bars are full size, and the rest are sample sizes.
When you unwrap the pretty wrapping paper, it comes in this cardboard box, with packing peanuts and the products.
These are the two massage bars, where you crumble under running water and your bath becomes an explosion of bubbles and delicious rose scented goodness. You can break the Rose Jam Bubbleroon (pink one) in half and save the other half for another bath. The Amandopondo massage bar you use the same way as the rose jam, but this one is a citrus-y rose scent.
The body conditioner you apply after your shower gel for smooth skin.
I'm not sure if I really liked this. I thought it was going to be close to Nivea's in shower body conditioner, but this felt weird applying. It gave my skin kind of a squeaky feel. My skin did feel soft when I got out of the shower, but I just didn't like the way it melted into my skin which wasn't very spreadable. It was like once it touched the surface of your skin that's where it melted into. You couldn't really apply it.
Next are the shower gels and the all over balm.
The only thing I haven't tried out in this box is the Rose Jam shower gel. I've only smelt it, and it smells delicious. I'm not sure if I liked the scent of the balm, I wish it had been the same rose scent as well, because it is supposed to be a rose themed box. I didn't really feel like this balm was anything special. I felt weird applying it on my hands, I just think it should be just a lip balm. But whatever floats your boat.
