Monthly Favourites: February

What fun and new exciting things to I have to share with you today. From beauty to food, stick around to see my monthly favourites. 

Food:

My childhood in a bag/they come in these gigantic plastic jars and I used to eat these in like a sitting. These are the best things I have ever had in my life,and this isn't the specific brand I had has a child, but these are equally as delicious and come in 4 fun flavours. (Pineapple, apple, strawberry, grape) It's kind of like jello, with the coconut jelly (which is better known as QQ jelly at Chatime) in the middle. I don't really know how to make it sound as delicious as it actually is, because I find most of the time, translating Asian food into English doesn't sound appetizing.  

Beauty:

I actually purchased this because I was going to the Korean grocery store "H Mart" and they have 2 buildings, 1 for food, and another for home supplies and beauty. But I didn't know that, so I walked into the beauty building very surprised to find out that they don't sell any food, and I felt awkward walking in and straight out, so I purchased this. But I also recently finished my Body Shop strawberry hand lotion, so this was (kind of) needed. First of all, Tony Moly has the cutest packaging ever and this works wonders on my hands. It went from flaky to baby's bottom. The smell kind of reminds me of this orange medicine I used to take, so it's not like the best smell ever, but it's super cute and works really well. 

This perfume had sat in my Sephora cart at least 3 times, but here it is finally. It's the Tokyo Milk Dark "everything and nothing" scent. It's described as citrus and florals which is a blend of pressed petals, tea leaves and sweet orange. This scent is a little muskier than your average perfume, but it's sweet but delicate enough to wear as an everyday scent. It's also only $44 for a bottle. 

Tv Shows:

For some reason the only shows I watch seem to be crime/cop related shows. But okay first of all How To Get Away With Murder came back and holyyyyyyyyy yo. So much shit is happening and it's been keeping me on my toes. Viola Davis never fails to snake her way out of a situation. But also, the cast is the best cast ever (after criminal minds cast, but pretty close.) Their selfies together are the cutest things I have ever seen in my life. 

Also, I'm like 60 lightyears late to the party, but I started Orange is the New Black and it's amazinggggg. Poussey, Taystee and Crazy Eyes are my favourite characters.

Book:

I've actually been picking up reading a lot, and I'm re-reading the samurai's garden for the 2nd time, but I did finish a book before that. And it's The Ring. (By: Koji Suzuki)  You know that creepy Japanese horror film (there was also an english one made with all white cast..smh) where the girl like comes out of the TV? Well, I read the 1st in the trilogy and it was very terrifying, but not even in like a bloody way, just like supernatural.things. are. so. scary. I had the heeby jeebies, but I do want to continue the series, but I will not be watching it because I think I would cry every night. The cover of this book is also really cool, not that you should judge a book by its cover (secretly I sometimes do).
