Big Korean Beauty Haul

My mom came back from Korea and she brought back some Korean beauty items as well as some other random things I wanted to show you.

1. Face Masks

Face masks are super important this winter as your skin can get very dry from the harsh winds and the cold. This Seatree ice fresh mask sheet is very hydrating, but I suggest you apply this over a bathroom sink as the mask is drenched in the hydrating liquid and can drip. The Faceshop masks are also a favourite of mine and come in all sort of different ingredients that do different things. These masks aren't as concentrated as the Seatree masks so you can slap this onto your face in bed. 

2. Nail Art

 

Nail stickers are a super fun way to decorate your nails without the hassle and smell of nail polish. I also choose to believe these are healthier for your nails because you're not applying chemicals directly onto your nail beds. 

I also got these super cute nail stickers that are the characters from the famous Korean chatting app "Kakao Talk."

3. Chapsticks

This lip balm comes in a super cute cat container and smells kind of like floral. 

These lip balms are actually from Indigo, and not Korea but I wanted to share them because they're so freaking adorable. The hamburger one is a little difficult top open sometimes but it smells great, and it does hydrate my lips. They're a bit of a weird texture because it's shimmery with a melted coconut oil texture when applied. 

4. Face Lotions/Toner

This stuff is amazing. For some reason I started breaking out over the break (couldn't possibly be from stress because 80% of it was in bed) and I used the toner+lotion combination for 3 days at night after my regular cleansing routine, and it cleared up my skin significantly. It's got a medicinal scent because it is tea tree oil, but it's very gentle and I recommend this to anyone who has acne. 

These sample lotions are adorable because they have donkeys on them. I like these for travelling because they're very compact but there's actually a lot more product in these packages than you think, and usually lasts me 3 night time routines. 

6. Other

I got these super adorable socks. One has cats and the other has characters from Studio Ghibli's "My neighbour totoro" which I have always loved. These are just super cute ankle socks, which are kind of pointless for the winter because these socks and boots do not go together, but they're soooo cute. 

This might be a new thing for some of you, it is an eyebrow knife/razor. It's about the length of a pencil and is made of plastic, but has this sharp knife end and you can trim, or I guess shave?? unwanted eyebrow hairs. The eye brow hair obviously grows back quicker than if you wax/pluck/get them professionally done. But if there are a couple of odd eye brow hairs that grow back before you're next appointment, these are great because it's super easy and super quick.
