I had a lot of fun at Zara over the winter break because they had their annual sale which had amazing deals and super cute clothes. Plus I was in Alberta and their tax is 7% unlike Ontario where it's $13% and I end up spending $5 extra on everything.
I kept this outfit pretty dark with the grey shirt, black leggings, my leather jacket and burgundy boots.
I bought this light grey high-low mock turtle neck shirt which has black vertical lines from top to bottom. This helps add illusion of an elongated body which is great because I'm on the shorter side and long shirts like these can really shorten my body. I originally thought this was a dress but it has these huge slits down the side which would expose everything, so gotta keep it classy and comfy by wearing leggings under.
To break up all the moody colours I paired this outfit with my Fjallraven Kanken classic backpack in ochre which I have been eyeing forever, and it finally came back in stock so I ordered it. (I'll leave the link below) It comes in many different colours so choose you're favourite.
I personally like to wear this backpack with darker colours just because it pops out more. You can choose to wear this as a backpack or hold it as a purse.
It's a very structured bag, but there's lots of room, and the material is super light weight so you don't have to worry about it getting heavy with just one thing in it. It's also waterproof. Just the thing you have to watch out for is the dyes. It may transfer onto lighter coloured clothing so soak it in lukewarm water before wearing!
