Romantic Vintage

This is an outfit I've been planning to wear since forever, but the weather was never right. But the early fall weather is great because it's cold in the mornings and warm in the afternoons, so you can start layering!
A little tip I learned about layering in my fashion styling class today: If you have a rectangular body shape like me, you have the perfect body shape to layer!

So, this is actually my grad dress (I'm so glad I'm able to re-wear this) and it's this soft peachy blush tone which cinches in at the waist and flows out at the bottom. I paired this dress with my distressed jean jacket. This outfit is very feminine but also has a rocker chic vibe. If I had to describe my style, it would be something kind of edgy but with preppy and feminine elements. The silhouette and colour of this dress is very girly, but the rips and the white stripes give it an edgy/sporty look.

I paired this outfit with my gold t-strap sandals, but you can either make it more girly by wearing some platforms, or more edgy with some ankle boots, or more casual with some converse. (White converse are my favourite!)
