Gridlocked Bows

I feel like I haven't blogged in ages, and it's almost like I've forgotten how to do it, so bear with me.
This was the last skirt outfit I could wear before it got cold. I mean knee high socks would be an option, but even that's when it gets chillier. Canada can go from fall to winter in a day.
The bow skirt was a bit dressy so I paired it down with a plain top and a slouchy chambray shirt. Also, I never know if I'm supposed to dress like winter for the mornings, or dress like summer in the afternoons. So the extra layer is good if it gets too hot in the afternoon. I paired it with darker tones just so the focus would be the cute little pink bows which also adds a bit of quirkiness. The best part of the skirt is how the lining ends before the overlay, so you can see the grid pattern. (grid has been my favourite print lately!)
