Today I'm going to be sharing with you my NEW skincare routine as my Tony Moly lotion has finally been used up. (I've actually had that lotion for more than a year.) This is the Shiseido kit which you can get for I think $40 if you buy the full sized lotion at The Bay. First of all this bag is super cute. I love clear bags, and this one has a trendy geometric print to it.
So the things that come in the kit are the first 4 items and a blush + the makeup bag. The lotion (5th item) was bought separately.
First things first you wash your face with this Ibuki face wash which is super gentle. You only need to use a little bit as it foams up quite a bit. The scent kind of reminds me of other Korean skincare face stuff, I can't really describe it. It's not exactly a clean/fresh scent but it's not an overpowering heavy scent. (Am I even making sense?)
Then you want to grab a cotton pad and use the Ibuki toner (which I forgot to take a close up picture of) which has a lot of hydrating properties and helps keep your skin dewy.
Then depending on whether it was day or night, I'd use these two lotions. The mini square box contains a night cream which (a little goes a long way) is very softening and is a creamy lotion formula. The everyday lotion which I use mostly for the day time has this watery dew drop type of texture (and again a little goes a long way) which also does a great job of hydrating the skin. The main difference between these two other than the fact that one's for night, the other for day; is that the night cream because it's a cream formula it leaves your face more dewy feeling whereas the day lotion is a watery formula so the skin sucks everything up and you don't feel any residue.
This is a "pureness blemish cleansing gel" and it's essentially a spot treatment. If you have any acne/pimple you just apply a very small amount of this on your blemish and wash away. This helps with clearing those away. I find that this packaging makes it a little difficult to squeeze out a small amount, as the container itself isn't very flexible, and you end up squeezing out too much product for a spot treatment.
Next is the "luminizing satin face colour" blush which comes in the colour RD 103. It's a peachy pink and I had to swatch very heavily on my hand there, but when you apply it to your face in real life, it gives off a very natural glow. Almost bronzy and is a very flattering shade. It comes off warmer on your face than when you see it in the pan.
Next these little travel packs came in the makeup bag as well. These packs are pretty big and I would say they'd be good for a 1 week vacation.
