I thought I'd do something a little different with today's blogpost and kind of show you my outfit but also what I did that day and what I saw.
So come tag along with me to the Art Gallery of Ontario in this post!
So my outfit was nothing too extravagant. I kept things really simple with an all black ensemble and my shearling bag with pleather straps. I had to carry my green parka and I'm wearing my choker. As per usual my hair elastics are on my wrist and that tangled blonde mess is in a ponytail. (I'm thinking about dying my hair back brown soon. I'm in a love-hate relationship with the blonde because I like the colour, but maintaining it is a struggle)
I also wore some lace up boots (yes, I know that trend was long ago, but I still wear mine) Here, I'm looking at some sketches which tbh wasn't my favourite because sometimes I walk into an art gallery and think "hey, I could literally do the exact same thing, and I'd be rich." Some art work is so strange, like have you guys seen the piece of cheese with hair glued onto it, and it's sitting in some gallery in California under a glass case? Like? I could do that?
This room was amazing, I'm not sure if I liked the dark wall and the lack of lighting, but I liked how the room was huge and the paintings were beautiful. The other side of this room actually had a wall just covered in different sized paintings.
These were some of my favourite paintings at the AGO, I wish I had the name of the paintings and the artist. I don't know why at the time I didn't jot it down. But if you guys are ever in Toronto, you should visit the AGO ($11 for students with I.D and free on Wednesdays after 5) because they have some great paintings, sculptures, photographs as well as a cafe with the best dark chocolate gelato, and that famous window arch.
I hope you enjoyed my little outfit + my little art adventure!
