Flower Child

MAMA WELCOME TO THE 60'S. (I recently watched my school's production of Hairspray, which was freaking amazing btw) But also welcome to the 60's because this sunflower tunic reminds me of the hippie dippie days.
This sunflower tunic is a sheer (so wear some shorts and a nude bra or tank top under) chiffon material that doesn't get hot, so wearing it out on a hot day is perfect. You can also choose to wear this out on a cooler day because of the 3/4 length sleeves.
I paired this tunic with my keds but wearing these with white converse, sandals, wedges or flip flops is great too! This is a super comfy and versatile piece that really channels summer.
Bonus material (? Just some random fact that I want to include in this blog entry) I finished reading Kafka on the shore for the 2nd time and I find that with this book the more you read it, the more entertaining it is. The first time I read it, I loved it and it's the only book that gets me out of my slump, but reading it the 2nd time was just as good, if not better. I also read Norwegian Wood for the 1st time, and am planning to watch the movie soon. (It has Kiko Mizuhara and Kenichi Matsuyama who played L in Death Note.) This book had kind of a slow start but once you make your way deeper into the book, you really get sucked in (I read this book non stop for 5 hours) and the ENDING kills my soul. And with any Murakami  books there are and infinite amount of deep and meaningful quotes.

Tunic: Forever 21
Shoes: Keds (not show but they're just grey)
Books: (top) Kafka on the shore by: Haruki Murakami
(bottom) Norwegian wood by: Haruki Murakami
