Classic Fall

Fall time has arrived in Canada (a little early actually, September is usually hot) and that means you can bring out everyone's favourite- the army green coloured jacket. Whether it's an anorak, a parka, a long coat or a short coat, this coloured jacket has been in style for a couple years now.
I paired my staple fall jacket with a black graphic t-shirt (which is actually a jersey style on the sleeves) and my only (yes, only) light washed denim jeans. This makes the outfit very casual and comfortable.
I love this jacket so much! It comes down right to my knees (which is perfect if you're wearing knee high socks and a skirt) and it's got all these drawstrings at the hood and waist. It's also got very large pockets at the front, so it's not necessary to be lugging around a bag if you just have your wallet and phone. The logo on the shoulder also adds a little bit of that military-esque style.
Now, these are my only pair of light washed jeans. I'm more of a dark wash jeans kind of girl, but I like how these ones have rips and they look really good slightly cuffed at the ankles. Now, that giant hole in the knee there, yeah, that was made by accident. Do you ever put on ripped jeans, and your whole foot goes through that rip. Well, that's what happened. But I didn't mind, because it adds a bit more edge and looks natural with all the other rips in the jeans. Also, if you look at jeans from Topshop or One Teaspoon, there are a lot of big rips and holes.
I also wore these booties with this outfit. I would have shown them on my feet, but I'm still breaking them in, and couldn't wait to get them off. They add that whole extra height so it makes me feel good when I can see over people's heads on the subway. The whole cut-out style has been very trendy this year, and I had to jump on that, because look how cute these are!
Just a more detailed close up picture of what everything looks like. do you see how I folded those pants? If you guys have Polyvore, then you know where that Jean folding style comes from.
